Finally an app that has coffee information for both the novice and the expert barista. Great concept - would be awesome to be able to share and download new recipes from other users as well!!

if you ever want to know how to make or what youre actually drinking, this app is great. nice look and all the basic info is there. simple. clean. efficient.
and doesnt even start on my iPad. Too bad.
Besides being really slow and almost non responsive at times this is a great app. Please fix the issues and you get a 5 star rating.
This app should probably come standard with every espresso machine ever purchased. If youre like me and you bought one without really knowing all its features or how to use it, this app is a godsend.. It turned my espresso machine from an expensive decoration into maybe my favorite kitchen appliance. The controls are intuitive enough and the directions well written enough that the app is truly appropriate for everyone from those with no espresso experience to the barista at your local coffee shop. Since new drinks keep coming it never gets old. Long story short, fork out the $1.99 bro cos its worth every penny. FIVE STARS!!!
A coffee info app that doesnt require Internet? Its about time! Theres so much info packed into this thing. Maybe I wont feel so dumb around all my coffee-nerd friends anymore.
Stylish app with carefully selected and displayed info about coffee.
As a barista I was interested to learn some more and see what interesting things could be had in an app about coffee. However, this basically is a very well designed wikipedia article on espresso. This isnt worth 99 cents let alone 2 dollars. Its a joke.
I like this app! Well-designed but a little sluggish at times. The recipes for the various drinks are very accurate and learned about some I never had before. A cool concept but perhaps better at $0.99 instead of $1.99.
This app is really handy for anyone wanting to learn more about coffee/espresso in general or if they are trying to improve their espresso related skills. It provides thorough breakdowns of essential drinks, with info about their history, preparation, pronunciation, etc. Also explains how to froth milk, what the differences in the machines are, and a lot more I didnt know about. My only complaint is its a tad sluggish, but I guess they will improve that in a future version. All in all, really pretty app with great info for coffee lovers. Highly suggested!
Will not launch on iPad. No customer support.
First off, the app is really pretty and nicely laid out. The illustrations of the drinks and machines are beautiful and informative. Im kind of a coffee nerd myself, and Spro still taught me a thing or two. Regardless its a great app for learning recipes and discovering new drinks. If youve ever gone into a coffee shop wanting a unique drink, but were afraid to try it, Spro will alleviate your fears. This is one of those "core apps" I will keep using, especially if they keep it updated.
Could be better! I thought that I was a coffee and espresso guru. Spro taught me differently. I love how informative it is, and how adventurous you can be in the comfort of your own home (well apartment for me, still in college). It gives you the courage to go to a local café or nearest Starbucks and try drinks that you wouldnt normally because of the fear of the unknown. However the "lagginess" gets old after awhile. Just did the latest update and its better but still a little slow in some areas. Fix this and it will 5 star worthy! (glad that the app itself now supports the Retina Display of my iPhone 4)
Fix the lag and continually update. That would make is app great for espresso lovers.
Improved over 1.0. A little slow; the app doesnt feel like a native app, but since its well designed, I dont mind so much.
This is my second review on Spro. I like how you guys actually put the submit-a-coffee thing into the cafe, but what if there was a submit-a-mixture thing integrated into the create-a-coffee thing. Now, seeing as this could get very big, would we really want to store so much information on one phone or iPod when only , lets say, one, coffee is needed. So, what do you do? Put them on a network! You have this big network of coffees and, if people are offline for any reason, for immediate retrieval they can download the coffee of their choice. Some for ninety-nine cents and some for free, and maybe some for $1.99! Thanks, DummiedDown
Like a good espresso drink elegant and simple. A nice selection of recipes with a few drinks I have not heard of. Each recipe is a nicely done graphic with a short information panel available. It works fine on my iPhone 5, however support for the larger screen would be a nice touch to an otherwise flawless UI.
